Custom Toms by Roberto Evans

You can order a pair of custom pair of  TOMS by calling  The Exchange at (352) 246-7841 ,  noon to 7pm (Eastern), Tuesday through Saturday.

The cost of the show is 44.50 and the custom artwork is $30. The Exchange is an authorize retailer of Toms, so we do all the ordering and shipping of the shoe to us.  And as always, with each purchase, TOMS gives a pair to a child needing shoes.  Phone order payments can be made using a Visa and Mastercard (not debit).

Most orders should arrive to you within 3 weeks.  Upon ordering you will be given the a more specific estimated arrival date.  You will also be notified when they are shipped and the UPS tracking number.

If you have any questions or to speak to me about shoes, call The Exchange at (352) 246-7841 or leave a detailed message and I will get back to you.

Thank You.

Custom Toms – Fresh

custom toms by Roberto EvansI got to do these for a new friend before he leaves town.  He’s a really great guy and I new he’d like something extra unique, so I made the two shoes not identicle but complimentary to each other.   They also feature some line drawings on the inner sides.  We were both really stoked with how these came out.

Custom Toms -red and browns

I really get a kick out of doing these, especially when you see people’s face light up at their custom pair. This guy is easy going so I thought this color scheme and classic-type pattern would be good this time.

If you are interested in a pair stop by the shop and we can get started.

Custom Toms: ‘graffiti picnic’

I painted these today. I asked the guy ordering them, ‘Do you like COLOR?” and he said yes.  As you can see, I wasn’t joking, and he liked them. I’m still doing these at reduced cost of what they finally will go for once I build up my “Toms show painting portfolio.” I’m really enjoying trying and experimenting with these new techniques.

The other day a couple from Jacksonville came in and wanted a bunch of pairs of Toms. I told him about our custom art and he said he’d try a pair. This is the very FIRST pair I’ve painted, and I was happy with it. More to come.   (The photo quality is a little low, its from a phone camera.) I’m doing the first pairs for a reduced priced, as they are a kind of beta. Contact me if you’re interested in a pair.

New Stuff

This is some of the new work I’m putting out now. Spray paint and markers= a lot of fun and affordable/awesome originals. (This one is $69, 15×18, stretch canvas. Others are  for sale on etsy. Look up Humancomputer. A bit larger for $73) I really have a blast doing these. I wanted to do something that was almost decorative and that anyone could  find attractive. What these pieces are about is the line work and color combination. Stop by the studio to see these in person. I’m gonna have an opening show for them soon.

I’m thinking about calling this series, “Marshmallow.” Feedback?

This was a piece I contributed to 14: Revisiting the Stations of The Cross at The Exchange. It was a great showing with these other great artists.
